Engagement shoot at the Botanical Gardens (Rose) in Fort Worth, TX
This couple was a lot of fun to shoot. We had a really good afternoon to get their engagements. There were a ton of clouds, making it generally shady – which is some of the best natural lighting there can be, in my opinion. Both of them were willing to be “actors” and try new things. That kind of attitude always gives the better portraits. You have to be willing to do the work to get the picture you want. It doesn’t just happen naturally. I love working with people who put the effort into not hiding their feelings from one another. This couple was very romantic and they were able to portray it visually, which I loved.
